What’s The Best Way To Quit Smoking And Drinking At The Same Time Without Gainning Weight?

I don’t know that I can maintain both my weight and not smoking at the same time. But, I don’t want to gain very much as an adverse side effect, either. Suggestions? Thank you.
I need to lose a lil weight now that I am done smoking. Does anyone have any suggestions in regards to aiding that? I know to exercise and eat well but other than that I am looking for someone that has seen good results with some sort of pill/aide.
I have not had a cigarette in 7 days. My intentions are to finally quit for good. I have been eating everything that has not run from me for the last week and can feel my size 7 frame starting to explode.
I can only assume that since I am no longer spending my time smoking that now I am trying to fill that time with eating. Anyone else out there experience this and if so how did you manage these cravings?
I don’t smoke, nor tend to start, but I was in a college discussion, smokers gain weight when they stop a fellow classmate stated, why?? Do they lose weight when they start??
I quit smoking on 10-18-07, but have been gaining a little bit of weight since. I obviously know physical activity helps, I’ve never been VERY active, but I’m by no means fat. I just want to know some easy ways to stop the weight gain associated with not smoking, it seems like I find myself eating a lot more now. Thanks
