i’ve been playing bass for 2 years now and i started smoking weed about a year ago. its my ambition in life to be in a famous band and make it big but weed is getting in the way of that cause i don’t have any motivation to play bass anymore or to do anything.
i want to tell my parents i’ve been smoking twice a week for the past year because i want them to ground me and get more strict on me so that i can’t do it at all. but i don’t have the courage to tell them.. What do i do?

It just so happens that I’m trying to quit smoking and I’ve noticed that I’ve gained about 12 pounds.

is it because they eat or…. something else? i am trying to quit. I’ts been day to and ive smoke a cig and a half. i am on the patch and i must say the cigerette i smoked tasted like DIRT. so if i quit will i gain weight and why? or again is it because most people turn to food after quitting?

I am going to stop smoking, that is not a problem, but I don’t want to gain alot of weight, I am excercising, but I want to not gain alot of weight, is there a vitamin, or something that someone has done while they have stopped smoking to not gain weight? Thanks!

i just started working out like running…and i know if i stop smoking my endurance will go up – but ive heard that you gain weight when you quit smoking is this true?
I know that if you don’t cut down calorie intake or increase exercise level you gain weight when you quit smoking. If I use nicotine patches at least for a while, will they increase my metabolism rate and and avoid weight gain?
