    *Start a fitness regine
*Avoid association with anyone else that uses
*Gain employment where you may or will be tested
*Do research on lung disease and nervous system deterioration
    Good luck

Just stop buying it. There is nothing addictive in pot so it essentially is all in your head…it’s a habit, not an addiction. If you don’t buy it then it’s not around for you to smoke.

    stop buying it

You need to decide for sure you want to quit if you are to have any success at all. Then fill up your time with other more healthy things to do than sit and smoke pot. Spend time with your friends that do not smoke and find out how they stay sane!

  5. Knowledgewise J Says:

Any mood enhancer is likely to be difficult to give up cold turkey so try to replace the destructive behaviour, ie: addiction with an alternative productive behaviour. You could try yoga, excersize like swimming, reading, music. Anything that helps you relax.
They say a glass of wine in the evening is benficial but if you have an addictive personality that may not be a good idea!

Quit cold turkey. Make sure you have something else lined up to do to replace that behavior.

    Stop thinking about it

Stop smoking it. Really, that is the only way is to just plan not to buy another bag. The cravings suck but you have to face them. After 2 weeks I stopped thinking about it.

  9. jsfnita Says:

JUST DO IT! Its not hard/. Stay away from people who do it for awhile. I was able to quit easily. Just dont buy it, look at it, smell it, stay away from it. Just say no! Get your mind set that you are not going to smoke it any more and you will be OK. Get out and do something else instead(not drugs). Turn to exersize instead of marijuana. You can do it!

its about your willpower if you really want to do it than your stop, just think positive ‘ you dont need it and its no good for you’
    good luck!!

STOP SMOKING THAT SH*T,does that give you the willpower , don’t mention it dear any time.

  12. Fallen Angel Says:

As a recovering addict I can only share my experience, strength and hope.
You are entitled to your personal reasons for wanting to quit. You do not need to explain or justify them to anyone, period.
Honestly, pot was my first chemical “love.” If I could get away with smoking it and nothing else without ANY consequences, I probably would. But I failed miserably at previous attempts. However, I’ve stayed off booze and dope for 12 years and two days now, one day at a time. If this chick can do it, so can you- one day at a time.
If you find you need support, there are options. You don’t have to do it alone. And it’s nobody’s business but yours, period. ;oD
